About Brandon
I have not been without a dog my entire life! I grew up with English Springer Spaniels who made great companions, house pets, and hunting dogs. I’ve taken countless trips to South Dakota, Kansas, and northern Wisconsin hunting upland game including pheasants, chukars, prairie chickens, grouse and woodcock, and my dogs are always along. To me, not much beats a successful bird hunt!
In 2008 I was selected as a K9 Handler for the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office where I handled dogs for the next 11 years. I handled two German Boxers who were each certified in tracking, apprehension and narcotics detection. I was fortunate enough to develop a very close relationship with my mentors in the dog training community and worked nearly every day with them as my training partners. On top of doing police work, both of my K9 partners competed in numerous highly competitive dog sport competitions. They each earned many Schutzhund titles and certifications. My second K9, Sabiye, achieved a top-level title, an IPO3, when he was six.
More About Me
I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel the country and meet many top tier, international K9 trainers, from sport dog trainers to police trainers and hunting trial dog trainers. My greatest asset is having the ability to reach out to one of my numerous contacts in the dog training space and get answers and ideas when I encounter a difficult problem. I look forward to developing as a trainer while we develop your and your dog’s skills. Training and learning never stops!
I am a dedicated family man, with a beautiful, supportive, loving wife, two awesome kids and two dogs of my own. I have lived in the Coulee Region for 23 years and could not imagine life anywhere else. My family and I love to camp, hike, hunt and spend as much time outdoors as we can.
